in conclusion:
y’all do indeed have a preference
the percentages waver with every vote, but about 70% of you prefer cas rimming dean, 30% prefer dean rimming cas
in the end i went with both, so 1/3 of the scene is cas receiving and 2/3 dean receiving BECAUSE WHY NOT, i have the power to make dean and cas do whatever i want, so i might as well please you all c:

The reason why I tend to go with Cas rimming Dean is because I feel like rimming would make Dean fall apart - blushing heavily, gasping, grinding his hips backwards in figure-eights onto Cas’s face, shyly burying his face in the pillows and having to be coaxed out by Cas, lacey pink panties drawn down over his tush… It would be the indulgence that he’s the most shy and soft about (and depending how secure in his sexuality and gender he is in that particular fic, potentially something he’s embarrassed about for John-Winchester’s-School-of-Toxic-Masculinity-related-reasons.)

First of all I pictured both in detail and it was the hardest choice. Damn you. Second, what decided me was the thought of semi dubious Dean getting rimmed and being like Holy shit this is the best fucking thing ever, I have to do this and everything else to Cas bc I want him to feel this good. Fwiw.
so what i went with in the end was very much like this ^, but the other way around, with cas going first.
