otp question: who gets into the christmas spirit starting november 1 and who bitches that it’s not even fucking december yet
#well see dean is p domestic when you get right down to it #so the first year they’re all together it starts out with him putting up the decorations a couple weeks before christmas #and cas being really confused as to why people celebrate christmas on any other day than the 25th #but then he ends up getting way into it like the cute lil dork that he is #and with every passing year starting the festivities like two weeks earlier than the year before #until pretty soon cas is in fact putting up that tree the first week of november #and dean grumps a lot and is all “oh god i’ve created a monster” #(although he doesn’t actually voice any of it out loud #because a part of him is also still continuously amazed that cas is even still with them – with him – after several years) #so he mostly sticks to just rolling his eyes a lot #one year cas buys sam a headband with a pair of reindeer antlers as a completely genuine gift#dean doesn’t stop laughing for three days and makes sammy wear them everywhere #and decides that cas can remain in charge of spreading the holiday cheer forever (via compassionatedragon)
