//Funny story actually, my dad works for Highways England and no kidding they had to have two whole days’ training JUST on how to remove swans from the road without hurting them. Something about they all belong to the Queen so wilfully hurting a swan is a crime.
Anyway my point is that the picture with the swan wrapped up in the high vis jacket is exactly what they’re taught to do and it’s great. Just imagine trying to wrap a 15kg angry white dinosaur nicely in your jacket and tuck it into the backseat of your car like a cranky toddler.
I once saw a police officer flapping his coat at a swan to make it go away. Clearly he didn’t get the right training. XD
