no, but like, a writer can intend one thing, but if that’s not what people get out of it, that’s not what it means.

JD Salinger maintained his book ‘Catcher in The Rye’ meant nothing. But so many people see great meaning in it. 

The studio exec may say ‘Dean isn’t intended to be bi’, but if enough people see that in the show, that’s a thing that exists if the writers see it or not.
