A waitress, seeing Cas giving an old woman money.  

She later sees him again, digging in the dumpster behind the cafe when she goes out to get rid of the garbage. He looks tired and worn so she invites him into the cafe for some food.  She warms up some lasagna for him, gives him bread, coffee, and she sits and talks to him.  

She smiles as he eats because he takes his time and savors every bite. He tells her that he’s lost and looking for his friends and he can’t find them and she offers to let him use her phone to call them.  His eyes fill with tears as he takes her phone and calls Dean.  He leaves Dean a message, tells him where he is, and gives the waitress her phone back.

Castiel tells her that he doesn’t have any money and that he cannot repay her kindness and she just smiles at him and shakes her head.  She covers his hand with her own and smiles at him.  I can tell you’re a good person, Cas, she’ll say. She’ll even give him a slice of pie, and watch as he smiles with every bite.  And Cas will ask her for one more favor, an extra slice of pie, to go, for when he meets his friend.
