So can we talk about the fact that Merlin said “I love you” to Arthur?
In the scene right before Morgana catches up to them, when Arthur falls asleep and Merlin whispers, “Get some sleep,” then we get a wide shot and THOSE WORDS.
For a while I thought it might have been “I’ll look after you,” but it’s not. It’s “I love you.” Whispered in a nice and vague way that’s easy to overlook for those five fans out there who don’t see Merthur (either as a romance or a bromance, at this point there’s hardly a difference though).
And it’s not like it even makes that much of a difference - we all know that Merlin loves Arthur - but how has nobody noticed this yet?
