casbadass:

Happy AU where John and Mary are still alive and Dean and Cas are getting married. And Cas still can’t figure out that you’re supposed to film horizontally ;)

closertoblasphemy:

cas holds dean after a particularly violent bout of bloodlust— maybe crowley is a pile of steaming guts somewhere and there is collateral damage and dean’s face is smeared with blood and he feels so empty inside, hollow like a skeleton. but cas holds him, and cas is here, and dean can bury his bloodied face in the warm crook of his neck that smells just like cas, and nothing else, maybe except for home.

and cas would say something reassuring, and wrap his big strong hands around dean as if to protect him, like dean’s not the monster, and say something like i’m with you dean, for better or for worse. much worse.

and dean would snort and reply in a half-mocking tone, yeah man, in sickness and in health, until death does us part

and cas would only hold dean tighter and look into his eyes and say, completely solemn and honest, yes, that’s rather accurate.

dean would laugh and the weight on his soul wouldn’t lift, not really. but maybe it would shift a bit, into a position where it’s a little easier to carry.

guess we’re a little married now, huh

i think we’ve always been a little married, dean.

yeah. that they were. for better or for worse.

“Will you accept this fake ID and become my husband?”

A hunter’s proposal. Cas thinks it’s very romantic and says yes of course.

Happy 6 year anniversary Dean and Cas! ♥

(I might put some more work into it because of the style inconsistencies.)

i felt very… wedding-ish today, and it’s been a while since i drew dean&cas, so i took a quick break from commissions because i missed my babies uwu

bossycas:

kid!dean and kid!cas hanging out on the playground together everyday. they like to push each other on the swings all the time, giggling whenever they bump into each other. sometimes they compete for who can launch the farthest off of them, but really cas always wins. he says it’s because he has angel wings, but nobody can see them. that’s when dean starting calling him his angel.

they share juice boxes and fruit snacks in their favorite plastic tunnel, talking about anything and everything; their favorite superheroes, the dreams they have, and sometimes about what they want to be when they grow up. dean wants to be a firefighter and cas wants to be a teacher. one day, dean brings his pocket knife so him and cas can carve their D + C into the bright yellow plastic of the tube so they know it’s theirs.

sammy always tries to follow them onto the jungle gym, but he’s still a little too small to do much besides go down the kiddie slide. cas doesn’t seem to mind when the 4 year old tags along, and he even sits with sam at the top of the slide until dean is ready to catch him at the bottom. he squeals and giggles all the way down the short incline into his brother’s arms.

cas tells dean he’d make a good daddy one day, which makes dean’s freckled cheeks turn pink as he watches sammy run back to his mama. he tells cas he would be a good daddy too, and a really good husband. he blushes harder as he says this, but cas gives him one of his rare, toothy smiles and grabs his hand, holding it for the rest of the day.

after that day, they always hold hands in their tunnel, a secret they keep to themselves but always makes them smile. one day while they’re sitting side by side, talking about their favorite disney movies, cas slips a toy ring on to dean’s finger and says they should get married. he pulls out the other one his sister anna gave him and slides it on to his own finger while he waits for dean to say something.

dean stares at the pretty plastic ring that cas gave him, then looks into the other’s boy’s bright blue eyes. he folds their hands together so their rings bump against each other before telling his best friend that he’d love to marry him. both their cheeks are pink from smiling when they lean in to kiss each other.

when they pull apart, dean pulls his pocket knife out and carves a heart around his and cas’ initials. they spend the rest of the day holding hands, calling each other husband, and occasionally, bickering about who gets whose last name.

15 years later, the two find their way back to the old playground. they manage to fit inside the old plastic tube, both laying on their backs in opposite ends with their long legs hanging out. cas wraps his hand around dean’s and feels the slide of their metal wedding bands against each other. dean smiles and tilts his head so he can see the carving he made so many years ago.

“I always knew you’d make a good husband,” Dean whispers in the small space. He can practically hear the smile in his husband’s voice when he answers.

“I always knew you would, too.”

imagine dean proposing to cas by getting down on one knee and giving him a fake id that says “castiel winchester”

Once he’s done he rushes over to Dean and slips the weave onto Dean’s wedding finger uwu
