Like, there was zero reason for Jared Padalecki to turn the question into a bisexual pun and he did because

Jensen saying that in 11 years he’s messed up one line? That they had to have 35 takes on for him to get it right? Because he kept saying he wanted to have sex with Zorro in a dress? Because he obviously couldn’t get the line of Dean confessing he wanted to have sex with a girl in a Zorro mask out in character? Because it didn’t make sense to him?

It’s telling that this was the one line all season that I had trouble interpreting.

Well, I do think that Jensen is the world’s foremost Dean scholar, but I don’t doubt for a second that he hasn’t known about Dean Winchester’s bisexuality since the first episode. A lot of the early camera work indicating the subtext relayed on his line of sight, and it does not happen by accident.
