Mechanic AU

The boys at Singer’s Auto Salvage are well known, and for good reason. Nobody balances a wheel or brings out the shine in a dull coat of paint better than they do - but the miracles they work on machines that ought not run at all, that’s what reels in the customers. Sam and Bobby keep the business roaring like an engine on paper, with the occasional hands-on effort put in here and there, mostly to give Dean a break. Dean, champion greasemonkey, prefers to work at odd hours of the day, fixing up other people’s pride-and-joys when there’s nobody around to bother him. But Sam and Bobby can’t help noticing all the extra garage hours their other mechanic Castiel has logged in recently. Funnily enough, those hours all coincide with Dean’s schedule. Something’s up, and it won’t take three guesses to be sure what.
