Can you clarify a bit about the amazon/fanfiction thing? As far as I understand, Amazon "bought" the rights to the works on FF sites and is now trying to make it into a money-making venue by (a) making you go through the publishing route to have your work on the site and (b) claiming the rights to your ideas and works. What about previously existing works? If I have a plot idea that I'm using for an OW but started as a FF, do you think I take it down to protect the idea or? thanks AHHHH :3
No, it only applies to people who actively go to them and say “I want to publish a story with this deal”. It won’t affect anything or anyone outside of that. Or, as far as I can tell.
