My Jared & Jensen Photo Op at Supernatural Con in Chicago

I was finally able to show them my painting but it went so fast I don’t think they really got the chance to look at it. I wasn’t able to get their signature ticket so I’ll have to wait till next year to have them sign the painting.

STORY OF PICTURE
My idea was inspired by my painting I did a few months earlier (the one i’m holding). I wanted all three of us to be racing in little cars but I didn’t have enough time to make one for myself. I made the two cars the night before the con. So I went with just those two.

The line went pretty fast and the manager of the photo line told me I was allowed to do whatever I was planning to do as long as I did it quick enough so I had to throw away my planned pitch of what I wanted to say to them to prep for the photo and just went straight for it. I think I caught them off guard because of that.

The box cars were folded flat under my arm for easier transportation so when it was my turn I immediately unfolded the cars on the floor in front of them and tried asking them to sit in them while I did it. I had to repeat myself since I didn’t speak loud enough when they ask to either stand up or sit. I’m glad the boxes were big enough for them to sit. Jared looked more excited about getting in to the box and got right to it. Jensen just looked looked so confused/concerned like what the heck is this? He also had trouble on how the top of the car was put together which I thought was funny but understandable. He was flipping it back and forth and I had to quickly adjust it for him so the hood laid flat against the body of car while the window propped forward. Then I told them to pretend they were racing but couldn’t see what expression they went with while I had to hold the painting in the back. I thought I would sit too but they were indeed tall so I was fine just standing. I mean look at that they are still half my size or even more sitting down.

I wish I had the chance to hug them since I heard they give great hugs but I had to rush to pick up the props and leave for the next people in line. The whole experience was a blurr. Orz
