“Gabriel… PLEASE, Daddy’s working…”
HEADCANON ACCEPTED
you know what i love? i love that no matter what our individual headcanons about dean/cas in bed might be- fucking since season four, fucking since not yet, top/bottom, reverse cowgirl only, wing stuff, no wing stuff, schmoop, rough and hard, in the car, on top of the car, definitely not in the car there are fluids- there is usually one beautiful point where all our venn diagrams overlap:
those motherfuckers gonna cuddle
Imagine every time Dean kills a monster now, he leans in real close before he kills them and says something like “Tell Benny I said hey.” It’s different every time.
Hey, Benny; Sam says he’s sorry he never got to know you better.
Hey, Benny; Cas came back today and I’m glad, even if I am still pissed.
Hey, Benny; if you run into a guy named Gordon, do yourself a favor and run the other way. Better yet, gank him again for me.
Hey, brother…wish you could get topside again. Sure miss having you watch my back.
#can you imagine lucifer sifting through nick’s memories with disdain #and he pauses over star wars #watches it thruogh nick’s eyes time and time again #it’s the story of an estranged father and son #and the father is this huge force or evil #and the son rebels against his cause #and in the end the father aides the son and with his dying breaths he looks upon him with new eyes #can you imagine lucifer reeling from that
SYDNEE
MOTHER OF FORCE
Now take that and combine it with the fact that he calls Sam “Skywalker,” and consider the theory that Lucifer lets Sam take over to throw them both into the Cage at the end. It all comes full circle.
(Oops, reblogging again) THIS IS MY FAVORITE THEORY, and if it didn’t happen, Swan Song loses so much of its emotional potency. Have I mentioned before that Sam couldn’t have pulled Michael into the Cage?? But Lucifer could have. At the end of Return of the Jedi, Darth Vader throws the Emperor to his death in a moment of clarity, to save Luke, and dies in the process but gains redemption. It’s debatable, I think, whether Lucifer allowed Sam to take control or if Lucifer was just completely thrown off by Sam and Dean’s refusal, even at that point, to cooperate with destiny, and stepped back because of that. Either way, Lucifer must have been affected very deeply by their bond and their loyalty (much like Vader was deeply affected by Luke’s refusal to surrender to Palpatine.) Also, either way, Sam could not have pulled an archangel anywhere, not even with the power of love. But another archangel could have.
holy motherfucking shit
In my mind, Dean is the kind of guy who gets a papercut and doesn’t stop whining about how much it hurts and he carefully wraps a bandage around it and favors the hurt finger until it stops stinging but then he gets shot and he just shrugs it off and says “It’s not a big deal. I’ve had worse.”
If cas was to go shopping for himself, what would he buy?I think actually he would still like the simple little things, you know like those pinwheels that spin around that children play with? *using Castiel’s voice* Dean, check this out. Dean. Dean, can we put this on the front of the impala? X

This wasn’t something Dean would ever tell Sam, he already got enough stick for calling her baby, but his Impala had a name. Ever since John had given the car to Dean she’d had the same number plate, KAZ 2Y5. It wasn’t anything he would say out loud, but in his private thoughts his baby was Kaz. She was the only thing in his life that had been with him through everything. She was the legacy of his father, she was the peaceful times on the road with Sam, she was his Kaz.
When they went on the run, his baby’s number plate had to be changed. Dean briefly mourned the loss of that identifier, that tether to his past but as with everything else in his life Dean was forced to move on.
Time passed and the name Kaz slowly slipped from his memory. All that mattered was that his baby, one of this things he clung to most tightly, was still at his side.
Later, when a man entered his life in a shower of sparks and claimed to be an angel called Castiel, the nickname jumped unbidden to his lips. It was a long time since he’d spoken the name Kaz, even in the privacy of his own head.
When it happened is all seemed so natural that Dean never questioned it. Year’s later he found an old photo of his baby and recalled fondly the nickname she used to bear. The nickname now worn by another. His angel, his Cas.
WHY
WHY WOULD YOU POST THIS
ARE YOU TRYING TO MAKE ME CRY
ok so i’ve always wondered why castiel is so out of touch with pop culture references since so many of the other angels seem pretty knowledgeable and modern but what if it’s because cas rebels so often that naomi has to keep erasing his memories??? like he can hold onto who he is and his love for humanity but all the trivial stuff just keeps getting wiped clean every time naomi messes with his head.
I want to talk about Charlie calling Cas “dreamy” for a minute
“stopping for gas” more like praying to cas
I don’t think there’s a doubt here.
