jensen's cockles grumpiness is obviously not genuine, but it still bothers me more than it should. why is he so afraid of showing his joy around misha all the time? 😒
i don’t think it’s cockles-specific. misha has said that the ops tend to go so fast and there are so many that they’re really vacillating between smiling and scowling simply to do something different with their faces. jensen in particular just really enjoys being grumpy and/or doing the blue steel. it tends to come out when misha is being overly affectionate, probably to balance it out:
Okay, so I don’t think it’s going to be as good as you’re expecting, but here we go!
so I should start off by saying that while I was waiting in line, they wouldn’t stop laughing and touching each other and making dumb faces so that was just gROSS AND UNNECESSARY
anyways, so I finally get to them and I ask “Can we get down on the floor and lay on our stomachs?” to which immediately Misha responds “Yeah of course!” while Jensen just rolls his eyes and groans like the grumpy old man he is
so we all get on the ground, with Jensen grumbling the whole time, and Chris (the photographer) is just laughing so that’s why Misha flipped him off. I noticed he did it though so I was like “Wait, Misha was flipping you off!” because I kinda wanted another one, and Misha asked “Do you want another one?” but Jensen was already getting up and I could tell the volunteers really wanted to move things along, so I told him don’t worry about it
AND THEN Misha told me, “Don’t worry, it’ll add character,” WITH A WINK and “Plus, Chris deserved it”
so then I got up in a daze and said thank you and walked away and that’s that!
as much as I would’ve loved us to all be smiling and looking cute, I actually love how it turned out because it perfectly captured their personalities

Okay, okay…maybe it’s because I’m complete and utter Cockles trash, but did Jensen seem jealous and irritated at the J2 panel at DCCon when the fans started talking about Misha taking his shirt off for money? (Which didn’t happen, btw)
Let me refresh your memory.
Fan (to Jared): Take your shirt off! I still have cash on me! *J2 start laughing* Jensen: That means she would have had cash on her before. What happened? Crowd yells:“Misha!”
And then we see Jensen’s face fall.
I thought okay. Chill out. You’re acting crazy. Obviously, he wasn’t jealous. He knows how fans are, right?
So, they joke about it and Jensen is smiling again and then Jared says, “Misha promised Misha would get naked?” (Obviously confused by the crowd) and then Jensen’s face turns back into this….
I am Cockles trash but I also have eyes. Somebody was jelly. Just saying.

Right at the beginning (when the crowd starts screaming Misha) jensen gets super nervous and he starts fidgeting and looking down and up and sideways, it’s really interesting.. At some point it almost looks like he doesn’t really like that such a possibility had come up at all, whoa! “Mish getting naked” topic srsly gets Jen super nervous
