you know, I’m starting to think Misha calls Jensen things like “tough guy” in order to subtly reaffirm Jensen’s masculinity so Jensen doesn’t have to. either that, or because he’s teasing Jensen for being the exact opposite (i.e. Jensen is an affectionate butterfly flower who just came out of the makeup trailer). somehow I actually think it’s both?? reassurance via teasing??? it’s an art and Misha appears to have perfected it. it’s things like “he’s the man” and “what’s up, tough guy” that make me think, yeah, he’s got the bro dude macho thing down. SUPPORTIVE BOYFRIEND IN ALL SENSES OF THE WORD.
me: [staring into the distance] it’s just… misha came onstage early at jibcon because jensen was uncomfortable and misha’s way to solve this and make him feel better was to gently cradle jensen’s head in his hands and kiss him on the cheek???? and it honestly, palpably worked? and they were so sweet with each other????? did this happen??

Remember that con where jensen was getting all stuttery and panicky on stage and didnt know what to say or do, so someone literally RAN to go find misha and send him on stage bc he is jensens safety net, so misha goes on stage and gives jensen a comforting kiss and then is like so wtf am i doing up here, like i can just imagine backstage someone being like QUICK MISHA ITS AN EMERGENCY but didnt explain??? its prob been well over a year now and im still not over this.
