my Boxing Day was more fun, since we had people over, and I socialised with someone other than my immediate family for the first time since mid-October, but yes!! Christmas was enjoyable! sunshine and store sales!!!

I am actually very sick of reading fics where they describe Dean as being a blond. He has brown hair. /Brown/! light brown at most. But his hair is brooooowwwwnnnnn not freaking blond omg. If I was on my computer I would put two pictures side by side demonstrating the difference between Deans hair colour and blond. So instead, please google it.
And if you argue dark blond I will flip a table.I swear the last 3 stories I’ve read they’ve described him as blond and I cringe.

there’s no big plan. I just happen to think that if I’m gonna write a kink, I may as well go all-out. although, I do decide beforehand that a particular kink might work with the story, which usually (always) ends up defining some part of Dean and Castiel’s relationship.
sometimes I just love a kink and feel like it’s not used enough in fanfic - or ever in fanfic?? there’s legitimately a few things I’ve written that I’ve never read about beyond maybe a wikipedia article. but I think a great part of being a writer is that you learn to take 0.5 of a piece of information and turn it into a plot point. and I find I have a lot of general intuition about things I have little real basis for knowing.
98% of the things I’ve written in my stories are things I’ve never experienced. I’m aromantic and asexual, uneducated, inexperienced, and vanilla as heck, and I rarely leave my bedroom, but I find it easy to write interesting people in worlds filled with romantic love and sex and fantastic events. I’m always delighted when people tell me certain things are accurate, given I’m literally guessing about what they would feel like.
anyway. I said nope, but now I’m actually thinking, yeah. I should just pick a kink and run with it. see where it goes. hmmmmm. this actually gives me ideas for a Christmas fic I was stuck on until just now. OH MY GOD. WING KINK?? OKAY I HAVEN’T DONE THAT IN LIKE 4 YEARS. I THINK IT’S TIME.
