When I was younger I used to think in sounds and colours and shapes and smells and emotion. Nowadays I think with a lot more words. I’m not sure on the scientific reasoning for it, but I think that’s something to do with synesthesia, where some people can taste smells and see noises, among other things. Apparently it’s more common in autistic people. I get my senses confused, especially when I’m in sensory overload. Like if the lights are too bright in a room, I want to cover my ears because it’s too loud.
If Cas thinks in colours then can see that working three ways: a) he’s an angelic being, incomprehensible to the average psychic, b) he doesn’t think like most people do (hence reaffirming my autistic headcanon), c) gay unicorn rainbows everywhere. c:
