Dean has probably always been bisexual. Crowley flirting with him (or flirting at him) doesn’t change anything except the amount of times Dean is subjected to sexual harassment.

Dean’s interaction with Crowley is not the best example when it comes to revealing his sexuality to the world - Crowley flirts with everyone, and Dean doesn’t seem to have much input when they do things together - but that’s not to say that the text/subtext means nothing. Yeah, I figure the writers are trying to imply something more extensive than what’s on the screen.

Personally I don’t like what they’re implying if they’re promoting Crowley/Dean, because Crowley is manipulative and Dean is vulnerable, that is not a healthy relationship in the slightest. Oh, and they’re bloodthirsty demons. As far as I remember, it’s never outright stated in canon, but it’s pretty clear that demons have no concerns with regards to gaining consent before doing anything - like having sex, for example. Dean’s fling with Ann Marie appeared to be perfectly consensual though, which is reassuring.

I have no idea if Dean and Crowley’s relationship is meant to be seen as sexual or not, I assume it’s one of those things where they’ll never make it canon but continue to taunt us with its somewhat uncomfortable, semi-humourous “look haha they’re flirting!!!1! Dean’s flirting with an older man ahaha!! it’s funny ‘cause Crowley’s super gay and Dean likes the womens hahaha”
