Dean wants to go visit Cas at his pie shop, but he doesn’t want to go empty handed. So he spends three days crafting the perfect flower arrangement from his shop’s finest flowers. At first, Sam laughs when he sees Dean hoarding all the bee ornaments and decorations, but after a while, maybe when he sees how serious Dean is about this, Sam starts helping, suggesting flowers and embellishments that really make the arrangement pop.
The arrangement is almost done except for one central focal piece.
Sam finds it first.
Dean lifts one brow. “You serious?”
“You were looking for bees,” Sam says. “This is bees.”
Dean takes the small plastic plate from his brother’s hands. The words, “Bee Mine,” are written across the top. Two little bees are painted underneath, with a heart between them.
“It’s a little…” Dean starts but isn’t quite sure how too finish. Yeah, to him, it’s the cheesiest thing he’s ever seen, but he remembers the way Cas got so excited over Dean’s last gift, the silly potted plant with the plastic bees. “It’s perfect.”
