I no longer have to draw with a mouse. This is also the first time I have done fan art, and also the first time I have drawn a person successfully. I’d say this was perhaps some kind of achievement? I love this season my kids even like the crime solving so u cud imagine my surprise/disappointment when the one FBI lady is gay(and kissed another woman).thankfully they didn’t see that episode but now I have to watch with reservations b4 they can watch it on a rerun nite.if stuff like that continues I’ll have to hang up the show altogether,sadly.

How fortunate that your kids didn’t see a strong lesbian character in a committed relationship—a relationship that, next to Peter and El, is one of two solid relationships on the show right now.

How fortunate that they didn’t see a same-sex couple actually get a scene where they display affection, instead of being shunted off to the side like many shows with LGBTQ characters do.

How fortunate that they didn’t see that a character who happens to be gay has a job in such a respected institution and isn’t looked down upon for her orientation.

How fortunate that they didn’t see that the character’s sexuality has absolutely no bearing on how people see her.

How fortunate that they didn’t see a lesbian character whose orientation isn’t—gasp!—the defining aspect of her character, or the subject of jokes.

How fortunate that they apparently have no idea that Matt Bomer himself is gay, and is still a successful leading man on TV, because it has no and, indeed, should not have any bearing on the roles he gets.

How fucking fortunate.
