well, shit

I just planned my DCBB properly, from beginning to end, with plot points and notes on symbolism and such. and it’s 6 pages of tiny writing. From experience I know that means it’s probably going to be at least 150,000 words.

There are 24 days until gishwhes begins. I really want to have the story completed before then, otherwise I’ll have to choose between writing my DCBB and doing gishwhes, and that was an unhappy decision to make last year. So… basically I need to start immediately. I AM NOT READY FOR THIS

writing my DCBB means shutting out everything for those days, and it’s gruelling and stressful BUT REALLY FUN

I love that I do this to myself every year. Makes me feel good. And awful. But mostly good.

Also, it’s my 21st birthday today. Yayyy.
