i was gonna post a fic this weekend but i’ve been working so hard on my dcbb that i haven’t had the chance to edit, so i’m changing the order of which fics go up first, and leaving it until next week. but there’s lots more coming soon!!! i just struggle to temporarily abandon big important projects and work on something else, so i think i gotta just power through until my dcbb is finished. I think I’m about halfway done, and i’ve been working on it 14 days. if i’m lucky the second half will be quicker? but then again it might not be so who knows >u>

like it’s one thing for a fic to have this many kudos ONCE, but for 34 out of 81 fics to have MORE THAN A THOUSAND KUDOS EACH, IF NOT TWO TO FOUR TIMES THAT is…… um… mind-warpingly astonishing to me? i’m constantly all “whoa” and “holy shit” when i pause writing new stuff to consider the old stuff, and i don’t think that reaction is stopping any time soon (and i hope it doesn’t tbh)

There was this SUPER CUTE fanfic I read on AO3 (called Minty Fresh Kisses, you should totes read it if you haven't it's fantastic) but it's basically Dean teaching Castiel how to brush his teeth since he's human and he needs to know how to do that? Think you could do something like that?

The fic in question is Minty Fresh Kisses - an 8k ditty in which Dean teaches Cas to brush his teeth. Yeah, for real, I wrote a fic about that. 1,000 lovely people liked it. I am delighted.
And I missed it when it happened, but Love Him in His Sleep (Love Him Always) already bypassed 1,000 kudos and already has over 1,100. (Did I ever think anyone would enjoy a 32k fic with dreamwalking fluff and somnophilia as much as I do??? Nope.)
…I’m a tad dumbfounded here. With these two hitting quadruple digits, there are now eight fics of mine that have over 1,000 kudos. That is not only an incredible freaking privilege for me to witness, but it’s also REALLY FREAKING INCREDIBLE.

This is the anon who was reading Minty Freash Kisses! I almost lost it when Cas asked Dean if they were gonna sleep together but then I just felt so bad for Cas because Dean's a moron and poor Cas was so obviously dissappointed that Dean got two beds and said they weren't together and poor baby Dean had better take him to some special destination that was just cruel. But the end made me so happy I love cuddling and when characters just lay in bed together. The end was so comforting and sweet. <3

I AM TRYING SO HARD NOT TO LAUGH IT'S THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT AND MY PARENTS ARE SLEEPING. I REALLY WANT TO KEEP READING BECAUSE THIS IS AMAZING BUT I NEED TO CALM DOWN FIRST OMG I LOVE YOU. *whispers* hi i just wanted to say that i love your writing so much like try-something tuesday is my favorite fic of all time (and better than my fav book) and i started reading angelhawke a while ago and i stopped like halfway through but i loved it so much and now i'm reading foxfire blossom and oh my god plus all your shorter fics are to die for and my gf really likes your fics too and minty fresh kisses was so perf and yeah i just love you a lot bye
Sometimes I think my shorter fics are the better-crafted ones too. I tend to throw all my passion into them like setting fire to something really quickly and it just goes up in smoke, wheras the longer fics are… heh heh, slow burn.
