Dean got that far, then realised he didn’t know. He didn’t know what the word was. Date? Court? Marry? All were too fluffy for his tastes, too impossible for their lives to accomodate. Dean, he wanted the passion and the safety that came with touch, with Cas’ hands and his lips; he wanted the compassion in his eyes and his smile, he wanted the future. He wanted him. He wanted him in every way known to man and then some known only to Dean. He wanted his blood and his heart and his kinship, and how could that ever be summed up in words?
So Dean left his words in his throat and he used his mouth instead.

thank you! well… I do have a bunch of unposted fics, but they need a beta. I could post the 8k one in about 4 hours, so long as someone could volunteer their immediate services of checking for typos, plot holes or screwy sentence structures for me….?

there is approximately 36k of fic sitting in my drafts unposted, awaiting beta-reading. the total comprises of 4 different fics:

- [6.3k] Dean buys a tutu and makes a new friend
- [17.8k] College-ish AU where Dean tells autistic+asexual!Cas he’s head over heels in love with him
- [8.6k] Dean teaches Cas how to brush his teeth.
so if anyone is wondering why I haven’t posted anything for nearly a month, this is why.
