I’ve been going back and forth on whether or not I should share this, but I can’t keep it to myself anymore.
I have a report from a friend up in Canada who says not only is there a Dean/Cas hug, but that during one of the takes, there is a “Dean caresses Cas’s face” moment as well. Not sure if it will make the final cut, but still !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Jensen took that initiative during that take to stroke Misha’s face, meaning it clearly wasn’t in the script.
**Destiel is real and it’s all Cockles’ fault**
She’s
also not a Destiel shipper, so there are no ulterior motives in her
reporting! I have a much more complete telling of this set story if anyone wants to hear
it…pretty spoiler-y
After
Misha took off the GW wig, Jensen started to pat his hair down right in front
of me. I paused to watch for just a
moment—but he kept petting his head and I realized I was just staring at
Misha. Then Misha looked me and I guess
he was still smiling because of Jensen, but it seemed like he was amused by me
being dumbstruck at the sight of a guy getting his hair fixed. PS The op turned out looking a little like American Gothic. Ha ha.
West
went on the M&G to the Wal-Mart. We
helped him buy shoes. Misha bought me
wine—Cupcake brand. (He also got carded by the cashier! Ha!) I’m sure it will taste
just delightful. And we got pictures in the bra aisle. Like you do.
West
threw a toy into an overhang of a ceiling—never to be seen again.
Jensen gave Misha a very prolonged hug after their duo ops and whispered in his ear. Misha was listening and had his hands down by his (own) waist and was kinda pulling back, but Jensen wouldn’t let him go at first. It wasn’t crazy clingy or anything, but I mean he was gonna see the guy again later, you know? Ha.
Jensen
picked West up and then deposited him on a table.
Misha
and Jared got West riled up and wrestling and Misha got kicked in the mouth (by
West).
In the first Misha/Jared op the fan had them line up in height order and give each other shoulder massages–or put their hands on each other’s shoulders–and Jared squeezed the shit out of Misha and he had to duck and run away (poor thing).
Jared
gave West a giant gummy bear (from a photo op)—and he didn’t seem thrilled with
it at first, but then he started eating it.
I think West also threw lettuce at me?
I just got smacked with wet lettuce, that’s all I know.
Misha
pushed a kneeling Jared onto the floor and Jared giggled on his back like a demented
turtle.
I
showed Misha and Jared a picture of them when they were drunk at Comic Con and
they seemed confused that it was them (the below picture). So, Jared grabbed Misha’s head and kissed the
side of his head (for my photo op).
Good
day over all. Jensen seemed a little disengaged to me, but Jared was
talkative and Misha was in a good mood.
And oh yeah. I saw Castiel in real life and touched him. It was amazing.
Oh yeah! Misha was wearing a stylish black long coat. He looked mighty fine.
Earlier today at the Cockles op, a girl had Jensen wear an Abe Lincoln hat/beard and Misha had a George Washington wig. After they took the pic and gave the props back to her, Misha’s hair was a little messed up. Jensen was quick to fix his hair for him, almost finger combing it back in place with both hands. It was a beautiful thing to witness.
COCKLES OP!!!! So last year Kaily was verrrrrrry skeptical of the boys and I had to hold her. I was just happy she didn’t cry! So this year she’s much more outgoing and was dancing and playing with people in line so I was hoping she’d let them hold her. She’s still a little deer-in-the-headlights but she kinda smiled!
Right before our turn Jensen was picking fuzz off Misha’s shirt (that no one else could see rofl) and brushing off his back (again, invisible fuzz haha) and picking stuff out of his hair. I died a few times.
When it was our turn we started to step forward and Jensen got THE BIGGEST EXAGGERATED GRIN when he saw Kaily, like mouth all the way open in happiness/surprise, and started doing grabby hands towards her – then the volunteers were like NONONO WAIT we have to do these people first! (They bring people to the front of the line who have special circumstances, are disabled, etc and can’t stand long. Totally totally fine.) So there was this family with 3 kids who were all dressed like TFW and got a bunch of photo ops, and I think one of the kids was was a cancer survivor or similar, the family was super cute and they all got big hugs and Jensen whispered in the mom’s ear for a while giving support and encouragement. Love love love love.
So THEN it was REALLY our turn and Jensen got his GIANT SILLY GRINNING FACE again and did super grabby hands. I said “she’ll go to you if you want!” and he was like “will you let me hold you? YESSSSSSSSS and picked her up. Then he talked to her for a minute “wow you’re getting so big! look at your dress! how are you!!!” And then we all posed and I was just standing there but at the last second I was like “FUCK THIS I’M NOT EVEN TOUCHING HIM AND I PAID LOTS OF MONEY” so I put my hand on his back for the photo and TOUCHED THE CARDIGAN IT WAS AMAZING AND FUZZY. I literally don’t even remember looking at the camera so I think my facial expression is just “omg Jensen is holding my baby this is amazing wow” lol biting my lip like a dork.
THEN Jensen talked to her for another few seconds and said “can I have a hug?” and so I encouraged her to give him a hug or blow him a kiss but she was like “hmmm no dude I don’t know you like that” - he asked a couple times but then said “oh well! maybe next year!” and gave her back and said “byeeeeeee! thank youuuuuuu!”
And as we were walking away Misha had walked over to talk to a handler and I was like “omg I literally didn’t even LOOK at Misha through that whole thing Jensen totally took over because baby” so I made sure to make eye contact and say THANK YOU!!!!! and he smiled back. :)
Later I got our Cockles op from last year signed by Jensen (had it signed by Misha earlier but there’s nothing to tell about that), and showed him how this years picture turned out. First he said WHERE IS SHE????? but it was 9pm at that point so she was asleep (get with it Creation - autos go too late on Sundays!!!!!) Then he was comparing the two pics and going WOW this was only a year? (Less actually, DCCON ‘15 was July!) “Wow I can’t believe how big she is now!!!” Then I said thank you so much and he smiled and said “Thank YOU!!!” and then I died, the end.
So anyways, I realize that this is going to be cropped and edited for all your domestic!Destiel and Cockles needs. That’s half of why I did it (only wish Jensen had her on his other side by Misha! So my Cockles op… What’s super funny about this is that I asked if we could cuddle Misha, and Jensen immediately says, “Yes!” Like absolutely we can do that. And then he pulls this face and Misha just looks like such a cutie. It just makes me laugh. I’ll post the jpeg eventually when I get it. Please credit me if you use this for now!
