can i just say that i don’t believe rogue for a second. jared has previously said that he will honour all con commitments that he made before thomas was born, and apparently a representative of jared said that he never confirmed that he was going to A8- rogue just announced it before it was finalised. i think this is supported by the fact that they didn’t put jared photo ops up online- just in case he pulled out, as they knew was a large possibility.
basically i think that rogue announced him so that they would sell more tickets. that’s what rogue do. if you, like me, have been to one of their cons before, you will know that they will literally do ANYTHING to get money out of you. you are not allowed ANY contact with the guests unless you have paid for it. for example, i’m sure most of you have seen that picture of the rogue staff member pulling misha away from some fans.
tbh i just find rogue events disgusting and the only reason i haven’t sent them a very long, very RUDE letter of complaint is because i know they’re the only way i’m ever going to get any contact with the cast because they’re the only company in the uk who do cons.
HOWEVER i totally get why jared isn’t going and i’m not angry at him at all, just at rogue.
and anyway, this con is still going to be totally amazing. A7 didn’t have as good a line up as this con, and i still had one of the best weekends of my life. this con has a great line up, with or without jared, and i get to see so many of my friends again. i know i’m going to have a blast.
just don’t let me loose on any rogue staff because that could get messy.
