okay so i …uh… i have a question that may seem self-centred

but i have to ask, for reasons

is there even the slightest, most remote chance that this edit Misha posted is inspired by my tumblr mobile theme/hoverbox header thing??? which i’ve had for almost two months??? which shows up in the “recommended blogs” bar when anyone searches “cockles” on tumblr???

because i think we can all admit that that is fairly similar in nearly every respect

can we just confirm that Misha searches Cockles posts on tumblr and have this over with

Oh yes. But can’t you just imagine the process of the idea? Misha would come up with it, presumably as ‘something for them to be doing in the background while he was livestreaming’, because it’s his kind of deadpan ridiculous fun; then Richard (or someone) goes … GLITTER GLUE GUYS and some two or three of them rush out giggling to find the nearest crafts store and it just takes off, so that by the time Misha gives up on the livestream and gets around to filming they’re so engrossed in it they’re getting competitive. And of course Jensen giving Misha a Valentine is just the logical extension of this, given the light-hearted cockles teasing they’ve been doing all week. Especially since the valentine says “love yourself”, which is completely in line with the message of their campaign anyway.

(And poor Jared missed out!)

My favourite part is Misha’s little noise at the end where he’s realised the whole mockumentary vibe has kinda gone down the toilet and all that’s happened is some bickering and Jensen giving him a Valentine’s card which he responded to a bit too sincerely

That’s exactly what I was thinking!! Like in the mockumentary when Jensen is all sweet and doesn’t give a crap about acting tough & manly. His voice was so cute when he said that “here you go buddy” line - but here comes Misha with his “aww” and cute little giggle that definitely WASN’T scripted, he was so close to breaking the character there & that’s what’s the most awesome part of it :D
