I’m still so stuck on how they treated Cas this episode. All the petty squabbles and I disagree with your motives fucking vanished to point nothing. Cas is family, Cas is a brother or a son, Cas is the best friend they’ve ever had. That’s the highest praise a Winchester could ever grant, and it’s not just words here. it’s actions. It’s Dean and Sam and Mary fighting for him, refusing to bail even when things looked hopeless. Even when the monster they were fighting wasn’t going to hurt anyone except Cas - they stuck around to save him as best they could
