Emmanuel spending months, months, hearing - feeling - this. This thing. It’s like a hole in his chest, but it’s not his, it’s a voice in his head that he can’t get rid of, because Dean might never have prayed for a friend he thought was dead but you bet your pretty ass he spend all that time longing.
Emmanuel cannot rid himself of this sensation. It’s not a voice, not often; sometimes it sounds like drunken rambling, I miss you where are you why’d you have to do that, you dumb son of a bitch, I need you here I can’t. But mostly it is the ache at his core, pulsing along with his heartbeat. A depth of missing that goes beyond words, and he can’t tell beautiful Daphne about it because sometimes, when the feeling is at its worst late in the night, hers aren’t the green eyes he thinks of, and he doesn’t know why.
Until one day, a stranger shows up on his doorstep, and the longing plunges into despair.
dean still praying to cas in season seven and emmanuel being haunted by the beautiful, broken voice he hears in his head and in his dreams :(

Ugh sorry, but this is the line that slays me every SINGLE TIME.
Because Cas has known the Winchesters for, what, four/five years? And, as viewers, we’ve barley even cracked the surface of their time spent together. Most of what we’ve seen has been what’s fuelled the plot etc, right? But what about all the other times that Cas dropped in on the Winchesters just to see them for the sake of company, or all the times the boys called Cas down to have a beer with them after a hunt.
Think about all these extra scenes and conversations they must have had together that we don’t see! That’s why I hate it when people underestimate these guys. Because what we’re shown in the show is only a snapshot of their relationship- Dean/Cas are canonically best friends. And although it definitely helps (lol), saving each others lives and going through drama together isn’t really all that builds a friendship. It’s also all of the getting to know each other that you do, all of the time you spend doing nothing together or something menial or stupid.
And Dean’s relationships, platonic or not, don’t last very long. Because they either die or he pushes them away. But he’s known Cas for years. YEARS.
YEARS.
CRIES.
Oh my God, guys. Why the hell did I not notice this before? Dean glances at the fucking wife after Cas asks what his issue is… Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m off to fly into the sun.

Guys I know we’ve been speculating about whether Gabe or Balthazar was the parent of the nephilim waitress, but I had this horrible thought

#I think the girl’s name was Nina?,Okay but it’s probably nothing because we still have no idea what the exact nature of Emmanuel and Daphne’s relationship was, but holy shit if they actually did the do, and she was pregnant when Cas left with Dean, that would make this whole episode 325436 times more painful, and I mean think about it because, Gabe and Balthy both knew they were angels, and would have taken super super angel precautions to stop some kind of crap like this happening, but Cas didn’t know he was an angel for all those months he was with Daphne, so he might have been less careful, and I mean come on there’s a bit of resemblance there you have to admit, I don’t want this to be my headcanon because it really really hurts like whoa, Cas fucking killed her, but what if he was her goddAM FATHER, I really hope we find out more about this girl it’s a fucking huge plot hole,someone please hold me.
