It’s seriously one of my favorites, because I honestly believe that this is Bradley slipping up as Bradley, and not being Arthur.

Because, look:

His gaze flickers to Colin’s lips.

And at the same time that his gaze changes from eyes-to-lips, the grip of his hand changes.

His hand goes from being friendly-casual to smoothing out and holding.

It’s not even a very important moment, necessarily.

I HAVE BROLIN PROOF.

Okay so, its determined that when we see something, anything that we really really want/desire/love/like, our pupils dilate. I have gone through the HUNDREDS of Brolin/Merthur gifs in addition to rewatching many episodes.

And every time Arthur/Bradley looks at Merlin, his pupils dilate. 

And guess what?

Merlin/Colin’s dilate as well.

I’ve paused and watched in HD over 11 episodes.

(Just to clarify, you’re eyes don’t dilate when you’re looking at a best friend, that underlying feeling of “want” or “desire” isn’t there. It’s almost always a lover.)

This isn’t definitive proof, but its something to keep in mind. There is something going on. Its none of my business but it does make me tingly inside. 

Edit: The more episodes I scroll through, the more I see it. Arthur’s pupils blown wide when Merlin enters the scene.
