and for the longest time, as Dean’s crush on Cas steadily grows, he has no idea Cas is in fact Tanya’s nanny—he just assumes he’s Nora’s boyfriend of husband instead.
Cas is developing a crush at the same time too, of course, especially because Dean seems to be better with kids than Cas himself, and he does this for money (while he writes his thesis on the side), but also because Dean is handsome and charming and smarter than he lets on, and Cas is so, so fucked, because Dean doesn’t seem interested at all. or rather: Dean does seem interested sometimes, but just right when Cas thinks something might happen, Dean pulls back and shuts down (since Dean thinks Cas is with Nora~)
obviously by the end of the story Dean has a moment of revelation where he discovers Cas is the NANNY, and oh boy do they have some great sex during Tanya’s naptime let me tell you

So I'm not watching the ep live, but I've seen the liveblogging and it seems like Cas is holding a baby, so my question is, has *Dean* seen Cas holding a baby? Cause we all know how Dean is about babies...
he has!! we don’t see it, but it’s implied in dialogue later that Dean helped Cas look after her until her mom came home :’))
and then they left and Dean looked after Cas if u know what i mean~~

- Dean bounces babies lightly in his arms and coos at them
- Cas cradles babies to his chest and swings them softly back and forth while he sings
