What’s more likely to happen is that both Dean and Cas gets dosed with it, run into each other, and then Sam bursts in and cures them just as they’re about to get up in each other’s personal space.

Why is everyone making nxt ep about dean/cas positivity when other important things are happening?????/ like idk taking agency away from hannah's vessel or even maybe hannah herself if she is cursed or whatever?????? pls explain?
we talk about Dean/Cas because we’re mad about Hannah being used as a plot device rather than a character, and it’s easier to think about positive queer rep and shippy things rather than how horrified we are at how messed up this whole thing actually is
Elmie I don't know how people are looking forward to the next episode? It also make me nauseous that people are making it about shipping and disregarding the major issue which is consent. It is driving me up the wall.
I’m worried, no doubt about it. Sex trafficking is involved, and apparently sex pollen? I literally want to puke just thinking about how badly it could go. Consent issues are the w o r s t kind of issues as far as I’m concerned. If this episode is as bad as the promo makes it look then I don’t even know how I’d deal with this, it could be completely undealable for me.
But this episode is written by Robert Berens, who did a more than decent job with the lady characters in “Alex Annie Alexis Anne”, and I think I might actually trust him not to fuck this up. Berens said the promo lied (tbh I think it could be more than what that post says), and those promos are terrible and misleading anyway. It has the potential to be a good episode (I think it will be) but this is weighing entirely on Berens’ ability as a writer, and him being aware of social issues.
Let’s think about it this way. It cannot possibly be as bad as 9x03. That was penned by bad writers, and 10x07 is penned by a good writer (Berens’ episode 9x06, I’m looking at you). And this is season 10, where women actually have stories and talk to each other and don’t always die. Berens was doing that for SPN before it was cool. I think there could be something to hope for here. (If I’m wrong - believe me, I’ll be as distraught as you. Until it airs, I’ll just sit here taking deep, calming breaths and hoping for the best.)

WHY DEGRADE EVERY MALE-PRESENTING/FEMALE-PRESENTING RELATIONSHIP INTO ROMANTIC AND/OR SEXUAL? THERE’S NO REASON THE WRITERS ARE JUST SHITTY
