Unfortunately, Tumblr has this thing where you can’t be proud of yourself and your work. You should be insecure and always think your stories and art are not worthy of attention.

I can see what they mean, obviously, but I’m not exactly swayed by their argument. I could be shy about things, or I could not, but I can still be humble. Putting a summary in a place someone might see it just… doesn’t seem very douchebaggy to me.
