#I think that the moments they’re in the car together are quickly becoming my favorite moments #Because Dean is so UNRESERVED in the way he looks at Cas in these moments. He looks at him the way that Cas always looks at Dean: like he’s wonderful and perfect and he can’t believe he’s sitting next to him. #The car is like this separate world for them; it’s like this contained environment and nothing exists outside of it and therefore nothing exists outside of the moment or outside of the two of them. They get to have this little world surrounded by metal and classic rock that is entirely THEIRS and they don’t have to hide anything so Dean doesn’t hold back how he looks at Cas. #The Impala is his home. It’s the place he is most comfortable. And it’s there that he looks at Cas like he’s more than an angel even. #Like he’s more than anything or anyone else in the world. #Because it’s safe to let his guard down in the car when he’s with Cas. It’s the safest place he’ll ever be.
