tbh i didn’t like the episode. it was too slow to get going and then everything else felt rushed. the “closure” conversations between john and sam and dean lasted, cumulatively, maybe 2 minutes? considering what you’re trying to make me swallow, you’re going to have to do better than that. the episode didn’t know if it was trying to have fun with the alternate timeline like the french mistake or if this was going to be an exploration of the locals’ perspective like bitten or be an emotional family reunion. in the end it didn’t really hit on any of them
