Hey everyone, Gemma here (fivepips), and I’m an admin here at theEmergency Blog. I’m going to explain what this is all about.
So basically, this is a blog for emergency information on tumblr. Now when I say emergency I don’t mean if you’re desperate for a livestream link. I mean that if you know someone on tumblr is going to attempt suicide, or has been kicked out of home, or is lost in a foreign place, needs somewhere to stay, has gone missing, or any other various emergencies, you message us here, and we’ll get the message out to people in the right areas to see if they can help.
To do this, we’ll need contacts in various areas around the world. Cecilia and I are only two people, and we can only do so much. So. WE NEED PEOPLE.People willing to help. Message us at either our own tumblr inboxes or at the emergency blog, either way, and tell us your location and availability (ie; whether you are willing to house someone or not [and if so, for how long], if you are online a lot or not, alternative contacts, etc.). Hopefully we will be able to build up a network of people from across the world. THIS IS IMPORTANT.
