okay look, I saw your post about the mixtape in the Led Zeppelin tag, and I know it’s old now but.. there is sincerely no experience I’ve had that’s more awkward than listening to 90% of Led Zeppelin songs with my family in the car. Lemon Song, oh my god. A Led Zeppelin mixtape is not platonic, like, at all. I can’t help but snicker to myself when people insist it is, because they have not listened to this band

English is not my first language, but if it was, I can’t imagine listening to Led Zeppelin with my parents and/or friends, especially for a prolonged period of time in a confined space. (And even amongst non-native speakers - Plant and Page’s guitar basically moan their way through half of these songs like a pair of cats in heat in a pretty universally understood kind of way, if you catch my drift.)

It’s basically the musical equivalent of watching soft porn. You don’t… do this… with people… you don’t want to… bone…
