Have you ever wanted to make something REALLY cheesy and cliché without feeling the need to apologize for it?

Have you ever read or even just glanced at the summaries of one of those dime store paperback romance novels that have covers with ripped men and swooning women in various stages of undress and thought to yourself “I can do better?”

You know, covers like these…

My friends, your time has come!

We are proud to present the (*drumroll*) DESTIEL HARLEQUIN CHALLENGE (*cue the triumphant trumpets*)

On April 6, 2017, we will post a list of summaries of the kind you’d find on the back of a cheap romance novel. Artists and authors can then claim a summary and either make one piece of art or write a fic (1k minimum) with destiel as the main pairing based on the summary they claimed. Only one piece of art and one fic is allowed per summary (collaboration is allowed but not required).

There will be open posting from July 1 to July 15.

So bring on the pirates, playboy billionaires, highland lairds, kings/princes, cowboys,…and remember: the schmoopier & schmaltzier, the better!
