What’s even better they’re freaking out bc they think nothing is gendered anymore and are not bothering to check the facts target put on their website:

“Over the past year, guests have raised important questions about a handful of signs in our stores that offer product suggestions based on gender. In some cases, like apparel, where there are fit and sizing differences, it makes sense. In others, it may not. (…). We know that shopping preferences and needs change and, as guests have pointed out, in some departments like Toys, Home or Entertainment, suggesting products by gender is unnecessary.”

It doesn’t even have anything to do with ‘’trans bs’’ as some of them stated (although, why do you think non-gendered products are for trans ppl educate urselves pls). There are still men, women, children etc signs in clothing departments - these changes affect departments that are gendered without any need (like girl toys and boy toys, girl beds and boy beds) like??????? can these people read????? someone help them.

#i went to target today and literally the only difference is that there were two aisles labeled ‘lego’ instead of girls and boys building set #and then ‘toddler bedding’ and ‘character bedding’ #THE OUTRAGE #target always has lots of cute pastel and neon colored tmnt merch too it makes me so happy to see #if you’ve got a kid who likes glitter and likes turtles TAKE THEM TO TARGET #i just wish it was in my size
