Dean and Cas sitting at a four person table in a restaurant. There are four chairs but they pick two right next to each other. They both order burgers.

They’re talking, laughing - everything’s going fine.

The waiter brings their burgers and everything’s still fine.

Then Cas bites into his burger, gets a bit of mustard on his upper lip, and absolutely nothing is fine.

Dean stares at that splotch of mustard as Cas hums happily around the bite of burger he’s chewing. That fucking splotch of mustard just gets to sit there, touching Cas’s lip and a bit of his skin. Dean’s never hated mustard so much before.

“What is it?” Cas asks after swallowing. His brows pull together in concern, and Dean feels like an asshole for worrying him. It’s just mustard. It’s no big deal.

Dean just hates mustard now, that’s all.
